Job summary

The Lowry Academy in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to support learning during teacher absences. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-prepared lessons, and help keep students engaged in a positive, safe learning environment.

The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week during term time. Previous experience with young people or an interest in teaching is valued, and the position offers a clear pathway for professional growth within a multi-academy trust.

• Ability to convey pre-prepared lessons clearly and supportively.
• Strong classroom management and engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during short-term absence of teaching staff
