Job summary

Choice Teachers are currently recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Manchester and surrounding areas. This role offers flexibility with supply work, regular bookings and opportunities for longer placements.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students stay focused and follow pre-prepared lesson plans. You will support learning and provide feedback to staff, adapting to different schools and year

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
• Confident managing a classroom independently.
• Calm, approachable and consistent when managing behaviour.

Choice Teachers are currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Manchesterand surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident education professional who enjoys working with young people and wants the flexibility of supply work, with opportunities for regular bookings and longer-term placements.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people.
• Previous secondary school experience is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Two suitable professional references.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
