Secondary Cover Supervisor - Chessington - Immediate Start!

We are currently recruiting a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join an outstanding Secondary School in Chessington. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, starting immediately!

Position Details:

• Role: Cover Supervisor
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Start Date: Immediately
• Location: Chessington

About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Encouraging active participation of all students, ensuring they remain focused and engaged in their classwork.
• Maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere by effectively managing student behaviour.
• Supporting students by communicating clearly and confidently, helping them stay on track with their learning.
• Organizing and managing the physical teaching space and resources to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Creating a supportive and stimulating atmosphere that motivates students to achieve their best.

What We're Looking For:

• Availability: Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, starting immediately.
• Experience: Recent experience working with children in the UK is essential. Prior experience as a Cover Supervisor in the UK is preferable.
• Compliance: Must have, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced Child-Only DBS check.
• Location: Ideally reside in or near Chessington, or have reliable transport to commute to the area.
