Cover Supervisor at London Secondary School
Location: London
Contract: Full-time | Long-term
Salary: £100-£135/day
Start Date: September

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Supervise lessons across a range of subjects and year groups in a vibrant secondary school environment
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain engaged and focused
  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies, promoting respect and a calm learning atmosphere
  • Support students with their learning, encouraging participation and resilience
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour during cover lessons
  • Step up when needed – from mentoring small groups to supporting with intervention and enrichment sessions
Who We’re Looking For:
  • Graduates in Education, Psychology, English, Maths, Science, Humanities or related fields
  • Confident communicators with the presence to lead a classroom – teaching experience not required!
  • Flexible, reliable, and calm under pressure
  • Passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact on their education
  • Experience in a school, youth work, tutoring or coaching environment is a bonus (but not essential)
  • Willing to learn – full training and ongoing CPD provided

Requirements
