Job description

GSL Education are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor for a secondary school based in Peacehaven. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone confident leading a class and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work and managing classroom behaviour in the absence of the class teacher. It’s a great opportunity for aspiring teachers, graduates, or experienced support staff ready for a new challenge.

To be successful in this role, it is desirable if you:
· Have experience working with secondary-aged students
· Are confident in behaviour management and maintaining engagement
· Can deliver instructions clearly and calmly
· Are proactive, organised, and flexible across different subject areas
· Have a professional and positive presence in the classroom

To work with GSL Education as a Cover Supervisor, you should:
· Have the right to work in the UK
· Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
· Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
