Ivybridge Community College is seeking a Cover Supervisor to ensure learning continues when a teacher is absent, using pre-prepared lesson plans. You will manage student behaviour and support teachers in delivering the curriculum.
The role involves assisting the Head of Department with duties such as trips, and working under the West of England Trust framework with salary graded WeST D SCP 8-14 depending on service. This is a term-time post with 39 weeks per year.

Salary: WeST Grade D SCP 8-14
Under 5 years’ Service: £19,404 - £21,368
Over 5 years’ service: £19,838 - £21,847

To enable the provision of learning to continue in the absence of the teacher normally responsible for teaching a particular class, by utilising pre-prepared lesson plans
To manage effectively the behaviour of students, and where no cover duties are required, to undertake activities to assist teachers in the delivery of the curriculum.
To assist the Head of Department in any other duties as are reasonable (Trips etc.).
