Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools in Nottingham on a flexible, day-to-day basis with potential long-term opportunities. You will supervise classes across KS3 and KS4, deliver pre-planned work in staff absence, and maintain positive behaviour to help students stay focused throughout lessons.

The role requires experience with children aged 11-16 and strong classroom management.

We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to work on a flexible day-to-day basis, with the potential to secure long-term opportunities. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising classes across KS3 and KS4, delivering pre-planned work in the absence of teaching staff, maintaining positive behaviour and ensuring students remain focused throughout their lessons.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

Previous experience working with children or young people aged 11-16

Experience working in a classroom or educational environment is desirable

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

The ability to communicate effectively with students and school staff

A positive, proactive and adaptable approach to working in different school environments
