Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting for a Cover Supervisor in Newcastle (NE5) to supervise lessons across KS3/KS4 and manage pupil behaviour. The role is day-to-day with long-term placement potential, on-site and PAYE, offering flexible hours and progression through CPD.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant qualification or degree, experience with 11-16 year olds, and excellent communication and organisational skills. Competitive daily pay rates apply.

The school is looking to take on a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor on a day-to-day basis, with opportunities for long‑term placements for the right candidate. The successful Cover Supervisor will be working across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, supervising lessons across a variety of subjects, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring pupils remain engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• A relevant qualification or degree is desirable
