Chestnut Grove Academy in Balham, South London, is seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated support staff. The role involves providing short-term cover for classes when teachers are absent and may include assisting in planning and preparing resources.

The successful applicant will have a minimum A*-C grade in English and Maths, experience working with young people, and be highly organised and flexible.

Scale 5 point 12 £29,539 p.a, 38 weeks per year (term time only). Monday-Friday, 36 hours pw, 8am-4pm. Part-time hours will be considered (but must be consistent full days)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to become one of the school’s Cover Supervisors, which is a vital post within our support staff team.

The successful applicant will provide short-term cover of classes for teachers who are absent. This could include assisting in planning and preparing resources.

Applicants should have:

• Minimum A*-C grade in English and Maths
• experience of working effectively with young people
• be extremely well organised & flexible in their approach to work
