Job summary

Sir John Thursby Community College is seeking a confident and proactive Cover Supervisor to provide classroom support during teacher absences. You will supervise whole classes, support learning and help maintain an orderly environment.

The role requires GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) and relevant experience or NVQ Level 3. The post is permanent, 32.5 hours per week, start ASAP.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
• Experience or an appropriate qualification such as NVQ Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes for short-term teacher absence.
• Provide general classroom support.
