Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for a school in Carmarthen. The role supports Mathematics and English lessons, with flexibility to supervise a subject of the candidate's choice. Expect strong behaviour management and work with secondary pupils.

Location: Carmarthen. Contract: Long-term Temporary, full-time. Start date: ASAP. Pay is paid to scale; hours are 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
• Previous experience working with young people
• Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable)

• Support secondary pupils in lessons and activities
• Maintain constructive behaviour and classroom standards
• Assist with pupil progression and safeguarding in line with school policy

Prospero are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work within a school in the Carmarthen area. The strongest applicant will have confidence in Mathematics, English and a subject of their choice whilst also working well with secondary school aged pupils and providing good behaviour management.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
• Previous experience working with young people.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
