Are you a confident and adaptable individual with strong classroom management skills looking for a rewarding role in secondary education? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy supporting young people's learning? If so, we have excellent opportunities for you as a Cover Supervisor in schools across Bridgend!

We are working with a number of secondary schools in the Bridgen area who are seeking reliable and proactive Cover Supervisors to manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher. This is a fantastic chance to gain valuable experience in the secondary education sector and make a positive impact on students' learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising students carrying out pre-prepared work in a variety of subjects.
• Maintaining a calm, orderly, and purposeful learning environment.
• Implementing effective classroom management strategies to ensure good behaviour and engagement.
• Responding to students' questions and offering guidance where appropriate (within the scope of the pre-set work).
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students in the classroom.
• Reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant member of staff.
• Following school policies and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Possess strong classroom management skills and the ability to command respect.
• Be confident, adaptable, and able to use their own initiative.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Have a genuine interest in working with young people.
• Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable but not essential.
• A calm and patient approach.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Location: Bridgend
