Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Birmingham. You will supervise classes in the absence of teachers and help students stay engaged with set work.

The role offers flexible day-to-day and long-term opportunities, with regular work across Birmingham and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience with children or young people, strong classroom management skills, and a solid understanding of safeguarding.

Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, HLTA, or someone with a strong background working with young people? We're currently looking for reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to join our team and support secondary schools across Birmingham. We have a range of opportunities available, from day-to-day cover to long-term placements, giving you the flexibility to find work that suits you.

The role

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of their usual teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on the work provided. You'll need to be confident managing a classroom, building positive relationships with students and maintaining a calm and professional approach.
