Job summary

Cedars Upper & Linslade School in Leighton Buzzard is seeking an exceptional Cover Manager to support pupil learning in the absence of a class teacher. You will coordinate cover arrangements and lead a team of cover supervisors to ensure consistent teaching and high-quality learning experiences.

This permanent role offers a 37-hour week (term-time plus 5 training days) with the NJC pay scale: L5 points 15-20, £27,541–£29,901 per year, and a start date as soon as possible.

Currently, we are seeking an exceptional cover manager to join our schools. The role of the Cover Manager is to provide a range of duties to enhance the learning experiences of the pupils in the absence of the class teacher. It includes organising cover for absent teachers and managing a team of cover supervisors. In addition, you will be covering lessons to ensure students have the highest possible level of learning experiences when their teacher is absent.
