Cedars Upper School in Linslade is seeking a capable Cover Manager to ensure learning continues when teachers are absent. The role focuses on organising cover and maintaining high lesson continuity across the school.
You will lead a team of cover supervisors, coordinate timetables, and occasionally cover lessons to uphold strong pupil outcomes. The post is permanent and commences from October 2026.

Salary: NJC L5 points 15-20 £27,541 - £29,901

Currently, we are seeking an exceptional cover manager to join our schools. The role of the Cover Manager is to provide a range of duties to enhance the learning experiences of the pupils in the absence of the class teacher. It includes organising cover for absent teachers and managing a team of cover supervisors. In addition, you will be covering lessons to ensure students have the highest possible level of learning experiences when their teacher is absent.
