Job summary

The Ministry of Justice is seeking Operational Support Officers to deliver high-quality customer service and administrative support to court and tribunal users across various sites in the UK. The role involves processing court documents, maintaining records, and supporting court proceedings while interacting with the public, judiciary, and other agencies.

Hybrid working is available, with a 37-hour week and flexibility for part-time or job-sharing arrangements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings including handling sensitive information and accurately recording outcomes.
• Creating and updating records digitally and interpreting information on a court file.
• Communicating with the public, the judiciary and other court/tribunal users.
• Supporting the smooth running of court proceedings and preparing court/hearing rooms.
• Acting as an initial point of contact for court users when required.
