Job summary

Evri Group is seeking a Courier Service Specialist to be the on-site champion of our Final Mile operations in Hirwaun. You will support onboarding, allocate work, monitor parcel scanning, and ensure compliance across the delivery unit.

Qualifications

• Current UK driving licence is required.
• Understanding of the self-employed courier model.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills and ability to spot and escape risks quickly.

Responsibilities

• Be the on-site champion keeping the Delivery Unit running like clockwork.
• Support onboarding of new couriers and allocate work effectively.
• Monitor parcel scanning, courier readiness and ensure compliance.
• Address local issues such as late couriers, scanning delays, or missing parcels and escalate when needed.
• Use the Service Tracker to raise timely, transparent escalations when needed.
• Support couriers with manifests, routing, and operational queries.
• Provide daily operational feedback to the Territory Manager to optimise performance.
