Job summary

Evri Group is hiring a Courier Service Specialist in Cardiff East on an on-site basis. You will be the on-site champion ensuring parcels are ready for collection and that daily operations run smoothly across the Final Mile.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current UK driving licence.
  • Understanding of the self-employed courier model.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to spot and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new couriers and allocate work effectively.
  • Monitor parcel scanning, courier readiness and ensure compliance.
  • Address local issues such as late couriers, scanning delays, or missing parcels before escalating.
  • Use the Service Tracker to raise timely, transparent escalations when needed.
  • Support couriers with manifests, routing, and operational queries.
  • Provide daily operational feedback to the Territory Manager to optimise performance.

WhatYou’llBe DoingDay to Day as ourCourier ServiceSpecialist

As a Courier ServiceSpecialist, you’ll be the on‑site champion keeping our Delivery Unit’s running like clockwork. From supporting and guiding couriers to ensuring parcels are ready for collection, you’ll be the steady hand ensuring efficiency, compliance, and reliable service. You’ll oversee daily activity, tackle issues before they evolve, and keep the operation flowing seamlessly—so our customers get the great experience they expect.

Responsibilities
