Job summary

Evri Group is seeking a Courier Service Specialist to be the on-site champion keeping our Delivery Unit running like clockwork. You’ll support and guide couriers, ensure parcels are ready for collection, and uphold service excellence across the Final Mile in Barry.

In this fast-paced, customer-focused role, you’ll monitor daily activity, address issues before they escalate, and provide operational feedback to optimise performance.

Qualifications

• Current UK driving licence.
• Solid understanding of the self-employed courier model.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills and ability to spot and escape risks quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding of new couriers and allocate work effectively.
• Monitor parcel scanning, courier readiness and ensure compliance.
• Address local issues such as late couriers, scanning delays, or missing parcels before escalating.
• Use the Service Tracker to raise timely, transparent escalations when needed.
• Support couriers with manifests, routing, and operational queries.
• Provide daily operational feedback to the Territory Manager to optimise performance.
