Evri Group in Merthyr is seeking a determined Courier Service Specialist to act as the on-site champion for the Final Mile, ensuring parcels move smoothly and efficiently throughout each shift. You will oversee daily activity, support couriers and guarantee service standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Current UK driving licence.
• Solid understanding of the self-employed courier model.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to spot and elevate risks quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding of new couriers and allocate work effectively.
• Monitor parcel scanning, courier readiness and ensure compliance throughout the process.
• Address local issues such as late couriers, scanning delays, or missing parcels before escalating.
• Use the Service Tracker to raise timely, transparent escalations when needed.
• Support couriers with manifests, routing, and operational queries.
• Provide daily operational feedback to the Territory Manager to optimise performance.
