Job summary

Evri Group in Manchester is seeking a Courier Service Specialist to act as the on-site champion for delivery operations and to guide couriers, ensuring parcels are ready for collection. You will oversee daily activity and tackle issues to keep service levels high in a fast-paced environment.

A UK driving licence is essential, with experience in courier operations and strong problem-solving, communication and attention to detail helping you excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Current UK driving licence is required.
• Solid understanding of the self-employed courier model.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills and ability to spot and elevate risks quickly.

Responsibilities

• Be the on-site champion keeping Delivery Unit running like clockwork and guide couriers.
• Oversee daily activity, address issues before escalation and ensure parcels are ready for collection.
• Support couriers with manifests, routing and operational queries.
• Provide daily operational feedback to the Territory Manager to optimise performance.
• Monitor and ensure compliance throughout the process.
• Tackle local issues such as late couriers or missing parcels before escalation.

• Provide daily operational feedback to the Territory Manager to optimise performance.
