Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Northampton is seeking reliable courier drivers for ongoing, long-term temporary work. You will distribute parcels to residential and business addresses, ensuring prompt delivery and professional customer service.

A valid UK driving licence with at least one year of van driving experience is required, along with no more than six penalty points. DBS check and 5 years of history for security clearance are needed.

Pay: £16.50 per hour inclusive of your holiday pay

Hours: 50 hours per week

Days: Monday to Friday - no weekends

Standard hours: 07:00-17:30 / 08:30-18:30 starts available

The Vacancy

As a Courier Driver, you are responsible for the distribution of parcels to residential and commercial addresses, ensuring your load is secure, deliveries are made in a prompt and timely fashion, as well as providing excellent customer service skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism and representing your employer to all of their customers.

About You!

Must hold a full and valid UK driving licence clear with a minimum of 1 year van driving experience.

Previous parcel delivery experience is essential as part of this role.

Your customer focused experience and expertise will underpin your ability to deliver this role fully.

Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.

Good physical health is required as this can be a physically demanding role at times.

Flexible in your approach to work, able to work reasonable overtime if required, and adhere to all health & safety practice with a safety-focused approach.

Must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and good customer service skills.
