Job summary

GR Employment Ltd is recruiting a Courier Driver on behalf of one of our customers in the Ise Valley Industrial Estate, the Wellingborough area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from customers, with a strong emphasis on speed, passion and a can-do attitude.

This role requires reliable, enthusiastic individuals who can provide excellent customer service, demonstrate flexibility and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan delivery route efficiently.
• Load and unload heavy items.
• Scan items.
• Deliver goods to customers on time and in a professional manner.
• Make customer calls to ensure deliveries and collections are completed on time.
• Communicate with the customer if any boxes or goods are damaged.
• Complete all relevant job paperwork accurately.
• Briefing your route to your driver's mate at the start of the day.
• Debriefing at the end of the day to ensure all tasks are completed.
• Working alongside a driver's mate who will assist you throughout the day.
• Statutory holiday entitlement, pro rata.
• Ongoing support from your dedicated consultant.

You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure.

Monday to Saturday: 6 AM start to finish

Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour

Job responsibilities:
