Job summary
Chefs for Chefs LTD is recruiting a hands-on Sous Chef for a busy country pub and restaurant in East Devon. You will work closely with the Head Chef and owners to lead the kitchen and uphold high standards across service.
The role offers a base salary of £38,000–£40,000 with live-in accommodation or relocation support and perks such as free meals, parking, and Sundays off. You will contribute ideas to menu development and help drive quality food.

- Experience as Chef or Sous Chef.
- Passionate about cooking and quality ingredients.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality country-pub food.
- Support and lead the kitchen team during service.
- Run busy services calmly and efficiently.
- Support menu development and seasonal specials.
- Manage food preparation, stock control and minimise waste.
- Train and encourage junior members of the team.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and owners.
- Take pride in every plate leaving the kitchen.
