Job summary

Chefs for Chefs Ltd is recruiting a Strong Senior Chef De Partie for a refurbished country pub near Newbury. The role offers development opportunities as you join a growing team delivering modern European dishes to a high standard.

The position averages 45 hours over 5 days per week with a salary up to £25,000 plus a generous tips package and house-sharing accommodation at £95 per week, all bills included. Training and progression are available under the head chef and Sous chef.

Qualifications

• Similar experience in a fresh foods kitchen is essential.
• A strong Demi Chef de Partie would be considered for the role.
• Have a keen eye for fine detail.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Be passionate and creative.
• Previous experience working in a similar establishment.
• Excellent time management skills are essential.
• Can listen to instructions and implement the kitchen’s high standard.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a close team to develop the business and uphold the great reputation held.
• Support the senior team with the day to day operations of the kitchen.
• Assume responsibility of sections throughout the kitchen.
• Report directly to the head chef & Sous chef.
• Assist with the upkeep of kitchen hygiene protocols.
• Assist in daily food prep and service.
• Liaise with senior members to hand over orders and requirements.
