Job description

Remuneration: Basic Salary: £50-60k (Depending on Experience)

+ % of Turnover / Profit Related Bonus

COMPANY:

International Manufacturer of High Quality Made to Measure Curtains & Blinds

Manufactured in the home of luxury textile design – India.

Client Focus: High End Residential & Hospitality

Relationships with World Renowned Hotel Operators

ROLE:

  1. Responsible for the new UK Operation of Tulio Design for the UK, representing an international manufacturer of made-to-measure curtains and blinds.
  2. Manage the UK operation, including:
  3. Sales: Generate specifications from A&D clients for luxury residential and hospitality projects.
  4. Work directly with hotel operators to secure specifications and framework agreements.
  5. Develop an initial third-party installation company to supply, install, and fit products.
  6. Transform existing third-party relationships into direct client relationships.
  7. Collaborate with the Dubai-based Director to develop short, medium, and long-term strategies for the UK.
  8. Aim to establish an office/showroom in Clerkenwell and build a sales/operations team around you.
  9. Consistently increase turnover year on year to grow the UK operation.
  10. Position the UK as a central hub for international specifications and relationships, expanding into international markets.
  11. Focus on London but leverage relationships across the UK.

PERSON:

  1. Proven track record in Specification A&D sales within residential and hospitality sectors.
  2. Ideally experience working closely with hotel operators.
  3. Experience managing projects from start to finish.
  4. Open to various product experiences: fabrics, acoustic panels, textiles, furniture, curtains, blinds, carpets, flooring, rugs, wallcoverings, natural stone, porcelain, or related fields.
  5. Business acumen: comfortable managing the operation from specification to sales, installation, and ongoing operations.
  6. Strategic thinker capable of planning business development, including opening showrooms and hiring in-house installation teams.
  7. Ability to work closely with international directors.
  8. Skilled in securing local and international project specifications.
  9. Genuine desire to develop a career and treat the business as your own; not a 9-5 mentality.
  10. Highly driven, autonomous, detail-oriented, confident, and strategic.

Industry Sectors: Fabric, textiles, curtains & blinds, commercial and residential fit-out, main contractors, office fit-out, refurbishment projects, breakout rooms, interior furnishings and finishes, suspended ceilings, flooring, wall coverings, natural stone, ceramic and porcelain tiles.
