Roles & Responsibilities
  • Advise the leadership team on management issues and effectively implement new or improved programs, policies, and processes to mitigate risk.
  • Lead, establish, and implement human resources strategy aligned with overall business plans and objectives.
  • Monitor and ensure full compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices; proactively review, draft, and update internal HR policies and compliance-related documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and drive local compliance initiatives and projects to ensure organizational adherence to evolving legal frameworks.
  • Possess deep knowledge of local benefits practices and have experience working with local insurance providers or third-party vendors on benefits or HR-related initiatives.
  • Advise employees on HR policies, procedures, and processes, supporting a positive employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle—from hiring and onboarding to development, retention, and offboarding.
  • Organize and lead local cultural and engagement activities to foster a strong company culture and employee morale.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate cross-functional resources and drive the successful implementation of HR initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years' experience in human resource management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience within the Tech & Startup sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin to deal with international stakeholders and stakeholders based in HQ.
