Job summary

Recruit Mint Ltd in Peterborough is seeking a hands-on FLT Driver / Packer for a busy manufacturing environment. The role combines forklift duties with packing and production support, roughly 40% FLT/warehouse and 60% packing/off-line production tasks.

The position involves safe forklift operation, pallet handling, material movement, and packing finished products in a fast-paced setting. Hours are 09:00–17:00, with a temporary-to-permanent potential.

Qualifications

• Previous FLT experience required.
• Valid FLT licence/certificate required.
• Experience in warehousing, packing or manufacturing desirable.
• Able to perform manual and repetitive duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift truck safely and efficiently.
• Pick, load and unload pallets.
• Move materials around the factory.
• Wrap and stack boxes as part of off-line production.
• Ensure products are packed and stacked correctly and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support the wider warehouse and production team as required.

Hours 09:00-17:00We are currently recruiting for an FLT Driver / Packer to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role combining forklift duties with packing and production support.Please note that this is not solely an FLT driving position. The successful candidate will spend approximately 40% of their time on FLT and warehouse duties and 60% carrying out packing and stacking duties on the off-line production area.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Picking, loading and unloading pallets
• Moving materials and products around the factory
• Wrapping and stacking boxes as part of the off-line production process
• Ensuring products are packed and stacked correctly and safely
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the wider warehouse and production team as required

Candidate Requirements
