Job summary

Randstad Group is recruiting FLT Drivers for a fast-paced distribution centre role. London plant experience cited, with a focus on loading/unloading palletised goods and accuracy in documentation.

The position requires a valid forklift licence and a proactive, team-oriented attitude to meet delivery targets and uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• RTITB/ITSAAR/AITT accredited licence for Reach or Counterbalance is required.
• Experience operating forklifts in FMCG distribution environments preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow established processes.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck to load/unload palletised product (Counterbalance or Reach).
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced distribution centre.
• Check documentation with handheld monitor to ensure correct packing.
• Follow health & safety procedures and report safety issues.
• Identify quality issues and escalate as required.
• Help deliver and maintain team targets to satisfy customer demand.

We are pleased to be recruiting FLT Drivers (Counterbalance & Reach) on behalf of our industry leading client, who manufactures world famous consumer household brands & personal hygiene products.

What you will be doing:

• You will be working as part of a team on a fast paced distribution centre
• Operate a truck to load/unload palletised product e.g Counterbalance or Reach
• Play a pivotal role in our clients operation to deliver product to the market
• Using a hand held tracking monitor, you will check documentation to ensure that product is packed in line with customer specifications
• Following safe operating procedures you will comply with Health & Safety measures and reporting any safety issues if they arise
• Identifying, highlighting and escalating any product quality issues by following the site procedures
• Ensuring safe working practises at all times
• Delivering and maintaining both individual and team targets to satisfy customer demand
• Be part of a high performance team

Week 1

Tuesday Wednesday Thursday & Friday 06:00 to 16:00

Week 2

Monday Tuesday Wednesday & Thursday 20:00 to 06:00

Pay and Benefits:

Salary: £15.49 per hour - Inclusive of shift allowance
