Job summary

Randstad Inhouse Services is recruiting for FLT Drivers (Counterbalance & Reach) at our client's site in Grays. You will join a fast-paced distribution centre, operating forklift trucks and handling palletised product to meet customer demand.

The role requires RTITB/ITSAAR/AITT accredited licence for Reach or Counterbalance, and FMCG experience. Shift patterns rotate bi-weekly with early and late hours; £15.49 per hour including shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Hold RTITB/ITSAAR/AITT forklift licence (Reach or Counterbalance).
• Experience in FMCG environment.
• Able to work in two-week rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck to load/unload palletised product.
• Check documentation with handheld device to ensure correct packing.
• Follow health and safety procedures and report issues.
• Identify and escalate product quality issues per site procedures.
• Maintain safe working practices at all times.
• Deliver and maintain team targets to meet customer demand.
• Be part of a high performance team.

We are pleased to be recruiting FLT Drivers (Counterbalance & Reach) on behalf of our industry leading client, who manufactures world famous consumer household brands & personal hygiene products.

What you will be doing:

• You will be working as part of a team on a fast paced distribution centre
• Operate a truck to load/unload palletised product e.g Counterbalance or Reach
• Play a pivotal role in our clients operation to deliver product to the market
• Using a hand held tracking monitor, you will check documentation to ensure that product is packed in line with customer specifications
• Following safe operating procedures you will comply with Health & Safety measures and reporting any safety issues if they arise
• Identifying, highlighting and escalating any product quality issues by following the site procedures
• Ensuring safe working practises at all times
• Delivering and maintaining both individual and team targets to satisfy customer demand
• Be part of a high performance team

The Hours:

Two week rotational pattern

Week 1

Tuesday Wednesday Thursday & Friday 06:00 to 16:00

Week 2

Monday Tuesday Wednesday & Thursday 20:00 to 06:00

Pay and Benefits:

Salary: £15.49 per hour - Inclusive of shift allowance
