Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics in Daventry is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Driver to join the warehouse team on a night shift. You will be responsible for receiving, storing and dispatching goods with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

The role requires a valid UK/EU forklift licence, warehouse forklift experience, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and paperwork accuracy.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU Forklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance).
• Previous experience operating a Forklift Truck within a warehouse environment.
• Confident loading/unloading a variety of vehicle types.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Experience using scanning equipment.
• Good IT literacy skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading pallets from vehicles.
• Off-loading incoming goods into the warehouse.
• Reviewing goods-in paperwork and checking collections.
• Comparing notes and locations to ensure the correct items are selected for dispatch.
• Unloading goods into storage locations.
• Allocating pallets into warehouse racking safely and accurately.
• Completing warehouse and stock location documentation.
• Wrapping pallets ready for storage and distribution.
• Maintaining safe working practices and excellent housekeeping standards.
