Job summary

Kinaxia Daventry is seeking a Counterbalance Driver to join the warehouse team on a night shift basis. You will be responsible for loading and unloading pallets, ensuring accurate dispatch and maintaining high safety standards.

Essential skills include a valid UK/EU counterbalance forklift licence, forklift experience in a warehouse, and strong attention to detail. The role requires reliable teamwork and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU Forklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance).
• Previous experience operating a forklift truck within a warehouse.
• Confident loading and unloading a variety of vehicle types.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Experience using scanning equipment.
• Good IT literacy skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading pallets from vehicles
• Off‑loading incoming goods into the warehouse
• Reviewing goods‑in paperwork and checking collections
• Comparing notes and locations to ensure the correct items are selected for dispatch
• Unloading goods into storage locations
• Allocating pallets into warehouse racking safely and accurately
• Completing warehouse and stock location documentation
• Wrapping pallets ready for storage and distribution
• Maintaining safe working practices and excellent housekeeping standards
