Job summary

Contract Personnel Ltd in NR13 is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative for a temporary assignment. You will operate a Counterbalance FLT to support daily warehouse and logistics tasks, pick orders and prepare goods for dispatch.

When not driving the FLT, you will fill sacks and containers with chemicals and maintain a clean, safe working area in line with procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Counterbalance FLT.
• Follows health and safety regulations in a warehouse.
• Able to pick orders and prepare goods for dispatch.
• Willing to fill sacks and containers when not on the forklift.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team on a temporary basis in the NR13 area.

Hours: 08:00 - 16:30
Location: NR13

The Role

You will be required to operate a Counterbalance FLT to support the day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations.

Your main duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move, load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring goods are handled accurately and in line with company procedures.
• Following all health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
• When not operating the FLT, filling sacks and plastic containers with various chemicals, including Bath Salts, Screen Wash and Anti-freeze.
• Picking orders and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Ensuring the warehouse and working areas are kept clean, tidy and organised.
• Carrying out any other duties as required to support the warehouse and wider team.
