Job summary

Quest Employment is partnering with a reputable chemical production company to fill a Counterbalance FLT Driver role in Northampton. The position offers stable daytime hours, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start and ongoing, site-based duties transporting materials and products safely.

You'll operate a counterbalance forklift, load and unload deliveries, record stock movements, and uphold strict health & safety standards in a busy chemical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a Counterbalance FLT.
• A current, accredited Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Background in a warehouse, manufacturing or similar industrial role.
• Solid knowledge of Health & Safety best practices.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Dependable, punctual work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Load and unload incoming deliveries.
• Transport materials and products around the site.
• Assist warehouse and production colleagues as needed.
• Store goods correctly and securely.
• Record stock movements and complete required documentation.
• Follow all on-site Health & Safety guidelines.

Quest Employment is partnering with a reputable chemical production company to find a skilled Counterbalance FLT Driver for an immediate start.

This role is ideal for a confident FLT operator seeking stable Monday to Friday daytime work in a fast-paced, safety-focused industrial setting.

You'll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly by transporting materials and products safely across site, always adhering to strict Health & Safety standards.

The Role

As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating a counterbalance forklift truck
• Loading and unloading incoming deliveries
• Transporting materials and products around the site
• Assisting warehouse and production colleagues as needed
• Storing goods correctly and securely
• Recording stock movements and completing required documentation
• Following all on-site Health & Safety guidelines
• Working carefully within a chemical manufacturing facility
• Keeping your work area clean, tidy and well-organised
