Job summary

KineticPlc in Boldon Colliery is seeking a forklift driver to join an innovative, established business on a temporary ongoing basis. A UK driving licence is required as some van driving may be involved.

You will work Monday to Thursday, 07:00–16:45, earning £25,000 per annum. 21 days holiday plus bank holidays. Duties include receiving deliveries, updating inventory systems, and delivering goods to customer sites using a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
• Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
• Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
• Updating inventory management systems regularly
• Picking and delivering goods by using a forklift
• Organising and delivering goods from the store to the section that requires it
• Deliver finished goods to customer sites
• Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems and word processing software
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work methodically and quickly
