Job summary

Premier Work Support is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver/Administrator for a busy Medway Towns site. The role combines forklift duties with general office administration and stock control, initially on a temporary basis with potential for permanent placement.

You will act as a point of contact for customers, hauliers, suppliers and colleagues, supporting warehousing, production, purchasing and stock control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative role is advantageous
• Valid B1 Counterbalance Forklift license with previous experience gained in an industrial environment
• Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office and business systems
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The ability to remain calm under pressure

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the processing and management of customer orders accurately. ensuring all details and customer requirements are recorded correctly
• Verifying incoming load documentation and updating production progress
• Maintaining accurate job files and production and quality records
• Ensure goods are correctly labelled and recorded
• Assisting in maintaining accurate stock records and supporting regular stock checks
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries when needed
• Work closely with the Site Manager, production team and warehouse to ensure efficient workflow
• Support site compliance by maintaining accurate records for audits and company procedures

A newly created role has arisen within a long established manufacturing and logistics company for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver/ Administrator to join their busy facility in Medway Towns on a full-time basis. The role is at first on a temporary basis and a permanent opportunity exists for the successful candidate after a qualifying period.

Hours of Work are #removed#, Monday-Friday.
