Job summary

The Best Connection Oxford is recruiting a Counterbalance FLT Driver for our client in Abingdon. This temp-to-perm role offers regular weekday hours and the potential to secure a permanent position, with weekly pay and an immediate start for reliable candidates.

As a Counterbalance FLT Driver you will move goods around the site, supply materials to production, and support warehouse duties while following health and safety procedures. A valid FLT licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (or in-house licence).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in production, warehouse or QC environment.
• Reliable, proactive and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklift to load, unload and move goods safely.
• Feed materials into production areas as required.
• Support general warehouse and production duties as needed.
• Move stock efficiently and safely around site.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.

Counterbalance FLT Driver for our well-established client based in Abingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekday work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Immediate opportunity available for a reliable and experienced FLT Driver!

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

Working days: Monday to Friday

Shift pattern: Rotating shifts, changing every two weeks:

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 10:00am - 6:00pm

Weekly pay: Paid every Friday

Job type: Temporary to permanent following a successful trial period

The Role

As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, your duties will include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to load, unload and move goods safely around the site.
• Supplying and feeding materials into the production area.
• Supporting general warehouse and production duties.
• Moving stock efficiently and safely.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence, or an accepted in-house FLT licence.
• A full driving licence.
• Previous experience in a production, warehouse or quality control environment.
• A reliable, proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a team.
