Job summary

Tudor Employment Agency Ltd is seeking a reliable FLT Counterbalance Driver for a busy metals processing and recycling operation in Willenhall. You will safely move, load, unload, and store metal materials, ensuring high safety and efficiency standards across yard and warehouse areas.

Responsibilities include vehicle loading/unloading, stock organisation, daily FLT safety checks, and close collaboration with production and transport teams to hit targets.

Qualifications

• Valid RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS, or equivalent Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in industrial/manufacturing/recycling/metals environments.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Move, stack and organise products within yard/warehouse.
• Perform daily FLT safety checks and report defects.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.

Job description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy metals processing and recycling operation in Willenhall. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading, and storage of metal materials while maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency.

Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently

Load and unload vehicles in accordance with company procedures

Move, stack, and organise metal products and materials within the yard and warehouse areas

Conduct daily FLT safety checks and report any defects immediately

Ensure materials are stored correctly and safely

Assist with stock control and inventory management as required

Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment

Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies

Assist with general yard duties when forklift work is not required

Work closely with production and transport teams to meet operational targets

Valid RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS, or equivalent Counterbalance FLT licence

Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT within an industrial, manufacturing, recycling, or metals environment

Good understanding of health and safety procedures

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
