Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a forklift driver with a valid FLT licence for ongoing temporary work in the UK. You will load and unload pallets on double decker trailers, predominantly on night shifts, with a 40-hour work week.

The position offers an immediate start, a 12-week probation period, and 28 days annual leave accrued. Visa sponsorship is not provided, and applicants must have their own transport due to shift timings and location.

Job Description

FORKLIFT DRIVER WITH COUNTERBALANCE LICENCE REQUIRED.
In this role you will be loading and unloading pallets on/off double decker trailers.

Duration: This role offers ongoing work with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will earn £15.00 per hour in this position.After a 12-week probation period this will increase to £15.63.You will receive 28 days annual leave as you accrue it.WE DO NOT OFFER VISA SPONSORSHIPS.

Working Hours: Night shifts start between 17:00 and 20:30, Monday to Friday, offering 40 hours a week.We will work with you to find times that suit you and your home life best.

Experience & Qualifications

This role requires applicants to have:

• – An in-date and accredited FLT licence.
• – Your own transport due to shift times and location.
• – You must be a competent driver as this is a very fast paced role with lots of other drivers/trucks around.
• – You need to be hard-working, dedicated, competent, and happy with nights.
