Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver for an ongoing temporary role with a path to permanent. You will pick, pack and re-label goods, and operate a counterbalance forklift to move stock in a busy warehouse.

Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and have warehouse experience. The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, offering £13.00 per hour and a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous warehouse experience desirable.
• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing goods for distribution.
• Re-boxing and re-labelling according to requirements.
• Operate a counterbalance FLT safely to move and organise stock.
• Check goods for accuracy, quality and damage before dispatch.
• Ensure packaging is secure and properly labelled for delivery.
• Load, unload and move stock as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Assist with stock organisation and routine duties.
• Meet daily targets and distribution deadlines.
