Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver for a busy warehouse operation in Aston, Birmingham. The role starts with training from 8:00am to 4:00pm and then moves to a permanent 2:00pm to 10:30pm shift.

You will safely operate a Counterbalance FLT, load/unload containers, move pallets, assist with order fulfilment and maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Experience operating a Counterbalance FLT.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work in a team.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client's busy warehouse operation in Aston.

The successful candidate will initially complete a period of training on the

8:00am - 4:00pm shift. Following successful completion of training, the role will move to the

2:00pm - 10:30pm shift, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently

Loading and unloading containers

Moving pallets and goods throughout the warehouse

Assisting with order fulfilment

Picking, sorting and organising stock

Moving and positioning stock within the warehouse

Supporting general warehouse operations as required

Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

Following company health and safety procedures

Requirements

Valid Counterbalance FLT licence

Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT

Previous warehouse experience

Experience loading and unloading containers would be advantageous

Reliable and punctual

Able to work effectively as part of a team

Willing to assist with general warehouse duties when required

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

Monday to Friday

Training: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Permanent Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
