Job summary

Quest Employment are recruiting for 2 experienced FLT Drivers to join the Leicester site on the AM shift. The role requires a Counterbalance FLT licence and a full UK driving licence, with immediate starts available.

Working 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, you will move stock and products around the site, load and unload vehicles, and support warehouse and production teams while adhering to health, safety and food safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Have a Full UK Driving Licence.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to working hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently.
• Move stock, materials and products around the site.
• Load and unload vehicles as required.
• Ensure goods are moved to correct locations.
• Support warehouse and production teams as needed.
• Follow all site health, safety and food safety procedures.
• Complete FLT pre-use checks and keep the area clean.

Quest Employment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected food manufacturing business based in Leicester, LE1.

The company forms part of a long-established family-owned food group. Its Leicester operation specialises in producing premium cooked meats and sausages and is also the UK's largest producer of pâté. The site has a strong reputation for quality, food safety and efficient production.

We are currently looking for 2 experienced FLT Drivers to join the team on the morning shift.

The Role

As an FLT Driver, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of the site and ensuring materials and products are moved safely and efficiently.

Your duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and responsibly.
• Moving stock, materials and products around the site.
• Loading and unloading vehicles where required.
• Ensuring goods are moved to the correct locations.
• Supporting warehouse and production teams as required.
• Following all site health & safety, food safety and operational procedures.
• Completing relevant checks on the FLT before use.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Working effectively as part of a busy team.

About You

To be considered for this position, you must:

• Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Have a full UK driving licence.
• Have full right to work in the UK.
• Have previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT.
• Be reliable, punctual and committed to your working hours.
• Be comfortable working in a busy food manufacturing environment.
• Have a strong awareness of health and safety.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
