Job summary

Gi Group (United Kingdom) is recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Driver in Derby. The role covers forklift driving, warehouse duties, production work and packing activities. Immediate starts available, with day and night shifts on a 5 out of 7 rota.

You will operate a counterbalance forklift, move stock, assist with loading/unloading, and help maintain food safety standards in a busy meat processing environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence with recent experience.
• Previous warehouse, production or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Counterbalance FLT Driver

Derby

£13.41 per hour | Day & Night Shifts Available | Immediate Starts

Shift Patterns

• Day Shift
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
• Primarily based within the production area
• Supporting production and packing duties alongside FLT workNight Shift
• 5 days out of 7 rota, 7:00pm - 4:00am
• Primarily based within the warehouse
• Focusing on stock movement, loading, unloading, and warehouse operations

Pay Rates

• £13.31 per hour
• Night Shift Allowance: An additional £8.00 per completed shift on top of the hourly rate

This is a varied role where you will split your time between FLT driving, warehouse duties, production work, and packing activities. We are looking for reliable and hard-working individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment.
