Benefit Cosmetics is seeking a Part-time Counter Manager for the Boots counter in Woking. This is a solo counter role, requiring hands-on leadership with no mandatory prior management experience, though some management aspects apply.

You will help achieve sales targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences. The position is 22.5 hours across 4 days per week, with weekend availability and flexibility to cover peak periods.

• Act as a liaison between store management and area managers for smooth operations.
• Oversee daily administration and ensure the counter remains clean and visually appealing.

Overview

Benefit is Glowing... We Mean Growing... and we are currently searching for a Part-time, 22.5 hour, 4 days per week, Counter Manager to make real connections in Boots Woking!

Please note: As this is also a solo counter, we will not require any previous team management experience. However, there will be management aspects to the role that you will be responsible for.

As a Counter Manager for a solo store, you'll be instrumental in achieving sales targets and creating exceptional customer experiences

Responsibilities

• Brow Services & Revenue Generation: Provide waxing, tinting, and tweezing services to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, leading to repeat appointments and increased service revenue.
• Target-Driven Sales: Personally connect with customers, demonstrate products with passion, and consistently achieve your individual sales targets and contribute to the overall counter goals.
• Business Growth: Develop innovative in-store and external events through strategic linkups, collaborations, product launches, and impactful charity initiatives to boost sales and brand awareness.
• Stock Optimisation: Ensure the counter is always fully stocked, monitor inventory levels closely, and immediately report concerns to the Area Manager to minimise lost sales opportunities.
• Communication Leadership: Act as a key communicator between store/department managers and area managers, ensuring important information flows smoothly.
• Efficient Administration: Oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and annual administrative tasks, supporting the Area Manager and ensuring smooth store operations.
• Brand Presentation: Maintain exceptional hygiene and housekeeping standards for the counter and displays, ensuring a visually appealing and professional shopping environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Dynamic, self-motivated, self-sufficient and sales-driven
• Passion for make-up and Retail with a focus on achieving sales targets and problem solving
• Result-oriented, who likes a challenge and exceeding sales expectations with resilience
• Desire to provide a unique customer experience that drives customer loyalty and repeat business
• Flexible availability including weekends, late nights, Bank holidays and holiday periods.
• A minimum of 2-4 years of prior customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment is required for this role with a passion for sales success
