Benefit Cosmetics UK is seeking a Part-time Counter Manager for a solo Boots Huddersfield counter. This 22.5‑hour role over 4 days per week focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences while achieving personal sales targets.

As the Counter Manager for a solo counter, you will manage stock, drive revenue through waxing, tinting and product demonstrations, and lead the counter with strong communication with store and area managers. Flexibility for weekends and holiday periods is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of prior customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment.
• Sales-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and problem solving.
• Dynamic, self-motivated and able to work independently on a solo counter.

Responsibilities

• Brow services & Revenue Generation: provide waxing, tinting, and tweezing to drive service revenue.
• Target-driven sales: connect with customers, demonstrate products, and achieve individual sales targets.
• Business growth: plan in-store and external events to boost sales and brand awareness.
• Stock optimisation: keep counter stocked and report inventory concerns promptly.
• Communication leadership: act as liaison between store/department managers and area managers.
• Efficient administration: manage daily/weekly/monthly tasks to support smooth operations.
• Brand presentation: maintain hygiene and displays for a professional shopping environment.

Benefit is Glowing… We Mean Growing… and we are currently searching for a Part-time, 22.5 hour, 4 days per week, Counter Manager to make real connections in Boots Huddersfield!

Please note: As this is also a solo counter, we will not require any previous team management experience. However, there will be management aspects to the role that you will be responsible for.

As a Counter Manager for a solo store, you'll be instrumental in achieving sales targets and creating exceptional customer experiences

Responsibilities

As a Counter Manager, your missions, will be as follows:

• Brow Services & Revenue Generation: Provide waxing, tinting, and tweezing services to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, leading to repeat appointments and increased service revenue.
• Target-Driven Sales: Personally connect with customers, demonstrate products with passion, and consistently achieve your individual sales targets and contribute to the overall counter goals.
• Business Growth: Develop innovative in-store and external events through strategic linkups, collaborations, product launches, and impactful charity initiatives to boost sales and brand awareness.
• Stock Optimisation: Ensure the counter is always fully stocked, monitor inventory levels closely, and immediately report concerns to the Area Manager to minimise lost sales opportunities.
• Communication Leadership: Act as a key communicator between store/department managers and area managers, ensuring important information flows smoothly.
• Efficient Administration: Oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and annual administrative tasks, supporting the Area Manager and ensuring smooth store operations.
• Brand Presentation: Maintain exceptional hygiene and housekeeping standards for the counter and displays, ensuring a visually appealing and professional shopping environment at all times.
