Job summary

Davies Group in Bolton seeks an experienced NDA File Handler to manage litigated RTA suspected fraud files for insurance clients. You will work with a Lead Lawyer to achieve commercially sound outcomes, following defined processes and using forensic analysis of evidence.

The role requires strong advocacy, analytical skills and excellent client care. 35 hours per week, Bolton Parklands Office, agile working with at least one day in the office.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil litigation claims handling / as a legal File Handler or suitably qualified (ILEX, LPC etc.)
• Experience in handling linked and organised fraud is desirable however not essential
• Experience of handling RTA pre-litigated and / or litigated case load
• An understanding of insurance litigation practice and processes together with indemnity principles
• Knowledge of the litigation process / working knowledge of the CPR
• Good advocacy skills
• Good client care skills and evidence of working to client guidelines
• High level of analytical skills
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritise work, keep to deadlines and work under pressure
• Ability to anticipate problems and identify solutions
• Experience of time recording and billing systems
• Excellent IT Skills
• Desirable: Qualified solicitor / CILEX with necessary practice rights (consideration will also be given to CILEX Lawyers)

Responsibilities

• Run fraud cases from the point of litigation through to resolution.
• Case management including setting case strategy with clients and adherence to processes
• Identify strategic litigation opportunities and complex cases
• Ensure maximum client satisfaction and timely completion of MI and KPIs
• Liaise with insurer clients and investigations to meet set strategy
• Maintain case management systems from opening to closure
• Adhere to file management policies and SRA standards
