Job summary

A Meat Wholesaler in White Roding is seeking a Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck Driver to join their warehouse team on a Monday to Friday schedule.

You will load and unload lorries, check delivery paperwork and meat temperatures, rotate stock, perform stock checks, monitor dates, and maintain clean, safe goods-in areas while following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Forklift qualification required.
• Reliable, punctual and physically fit for manual work.
• Accurate with paperwork and documentation.
• Organised with good attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Using a counter balance to load and unload lorries and distribute produce to warehouse areas.
• Checking all delivery paperwork and meat temperatures.

Job description

Our Client a Meat Wholesaler based in White Roding are looking for a Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck Driver.

Working Days Monday to Friday Paying £14.00ph.

The site location is in a rural area, White Roding with very poor public transport links so own transport is essential.

The work will involve

• Using a counter balance to load and unload lorries and safely distribute produce to warehouse areas.
• Checking all delivery paperwork and meat temperatures.
• Rotating stock, completing stock checks and monitoring product dates.
• Keeping warehouse and goods-in areas clean and tidy
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Helping colleagues in other departments where required.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Forklift qualified
• Reliable and punctual
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Accurate when completing paperwork
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a busy chilled food warehouse environment
• Flexible and willing to turn their hand to different jobs
• All PPE is provided as well as Food Safety training.

This is a Temp to Perm position.
