Job summary

Bupa Mindplace Plymouth is seeking a Counsellor/Psychotherapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based counselling to customers. You will work independently within a multidisciplinary team, delivering short, medium, or longer-term support and liaising with internal services.

Essentially, you will conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans, and offer a range of models including face-to-face sessions. You will participate in supervision, adhere to policies, and help improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

• 3 years of post-qualification counselling experience.
• Essential: BACP/NCPS/UKCP registrations.
• General adult mental health experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality counselling or brief interventions.
• Deliver assessments and formulations to guide interventions.
• Offer face-to-face sessions.
• Collaborate with Clinical Leads and therapy team.
• Attend regular supervision and team meetings.
• Signpost or refer as needed.
