Job Description

We are recruiting Cost Managers to join our London-based Communities and Local Government Cost Management Team, supporting high-profile, iconic projects across the central and local government sectors. We welcome full-time, part-time, and flexible working applications.

The team handles projects such as listed building refurbishments, office fit-outs, residential developments, and master planning, focusing on cost management and assurance.

Typical duties include:

• Commercial delivery of various projects
• Building professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and project stakeholders
• Managing project costs in line with objectives and policies
• Monitoring, forecasting, and reporting project costs accurately
• Managing cost variances and contract cash flows proactively
• Collaborating with client and contractor teams to meet project KPIs and objectives
• Handling contract changes effectively within governance frameworks
• Improving forecast and budget accuracy
• Providing commercial support and knowledge to stakeholders
• Negotiating and finalizing project accounts

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivering high-quality cost management or quantity surveying services across project lifecycles
• Degree or HNC qualification
• Professional qualification (e.g., MRICS) or working towards it is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects successfully
