Job summary

Our Client is a global leader in advanced engineering and innovative technology solutions. They are recruiting a Cost Manager to join a high‑performing Project Controls team within the nuclear sector, offering strong career progression and a supportive environment.

You will manage cost performance, forecasts and Earned Value Management, collaborating with Commercial and Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven cost management experience on major programmes or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, forecasting and Earned Value Management.
• Experience with PRISM, EcoSys, Cobra or similar systems.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Nuclear, energy, engineering or infrastructure experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts and construction is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyse programme cost performance, including Earned Value Management.
• Support cost forecasting, EAC, ETC and actual cost reporting.
• Track costs against approved budgets and cost breakdown structures.
• Support budget updates, re-baselining and forecasting activities.
• Analyse change requests and ensure accurate cost coding.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams on accruals and contract costs.
• Implement and maintain effective cost management systems and reporting tools.
• Provide guidance and support on cost management processes and systems.
